CULTURAL TOUR OF KUALA LUMPUR

On Saturday, 17 May 2008 all the CORELS participants were taken on a cultural tour of Kuala Lumpur. Among the places visited were the Batu Caves Temple, National Monument, Petronas Twin Towers and the modern administrative township of Putrajaya. The participants were treated to a great Northern Indian lunch at a leading Indian restaurant in Kuala Lumpur and the tour ended at approximately four o’clock that evening. All the participants enjoyed the tour very much and hopefully will take home fond memories of our beloved city Kuala Lumpur.

CORELS VI CLOSING CEREMONY

The CORELS VI 2008 Closing Ceremony was officiated by Yang Berbahagia Brig Gen Anuar bin Sabtu, Director of Education Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF)on Friday, 16 May 2008 at 1100 at Ballroom B, Renaissance Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Brig Gen Anuar presented certificates of attendance to all the participants of CORELS VI. CORELS VI 2008 was co-hosted by Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) and Australian Defence Force (ADF). CORELS VII will most likely be held in Vientienne, Laos.

CORELS VI KARAOKE NIGHT HOSTED BY ADF

CORELS VI Karaoke night hosted by Australian Defence Force (ADF) was held by the poolside of the Australian High Commission on the evening of 15 May 2008. Besides enjoying the fantastic dinner, all the participants had a great night of fun and laughter.

CORELS VI OFFICIAL DINNER HOSTED BY MAF

The CORELS VI official dinner hosted by Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) was held on 13 May 2008 at Eden@Chulan Square and was graced by Yang Berbahagia Lt Gen Datuk Hj Shahron bin Hj Ibrahim, Chief of Staff MAF Headquarters, Yang Berbahagia Maj Gen Dato’ Abdul Aziz bin Ibrahim, Assistant Chief of Staff Personnel Services MAF and Brig Gen Anuar bin Sabtu, Director of Education MAF. The function was attended by all CORELS VI participants from the 12 participating nations and members of the organizing committee. At the start of the dinner Yang Berbahagia Lt Gen Datuk Hj Shahron bin Hj Ibrahim presented mementos to heads of delegation from the various participating nations.
